Each of the public monitors is chosen to illustrate one type of transaction monitoring that requires the unique capabilities of eValid as a monitoring engine within a browser. In all cases the tests are run hourly, 24x7, with staggered start times.

• PageTune. Downloads a page with detailed timing results to permit identification of slow-loading page components.

• Dynamic Link Check. For the specified starting page, determine all of the now currently linked pages and attempt to visit them to confirm they exit.

  • Dynamic Link Check. Runs an evalid dynamic link check command to confirm operation of all links currently showing on toppage.

• Web EMail Checkout. Navigate to a publie EMail site, log in, check for mail, and then log out.

  • Web EMail CheckOut. Runs a script that signs on to a public email account, confirms sign-on, observes incoming mail, and then signs out.

• FLASH Page Playback. Navigate to a page that includes a FLASH object that takes a variable time to download, synchronize on download complete, and then continue navigation.

  • FLASH Page Playback. Runs a script that navigates through FLASH objects on a website, and then checks for availability of the login prompt.

• Search & Confirm. Using the search engine on a specific website, search for a specific object, and confirm that the object was found correctly.
